Chassis:
This is the March 707 originally delivered to Helmut Kelleners. For the 1971 season it was rebuilt to the latest specifications and re-stamped 717/1. In this guise it raced with little success by Kelleners and subsequently Stefan Sklenar. Some time after its retirement from contemporary racing, the car was fitted with a 707 style body again. After many years of historic racing, it was eventually converted back to the later aero-kit, which also matched the chassis number better. Today it is once again the only 717 March in existence and is actively used. Chassis 717/1 is seen here during the 2006 Silverstone Classic and the 2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
