Chassis:
Featured is the second of two chassis built in 1967. While originally conceived as a Formula 2 car, '0004' began its active racing career as a Tasman car. It was used by Amon to score two victories early in 1968. Upon its return in Europe, it was converted back to F2 spec and raced by Brambilla to that famous win at Vallelunga. It was also used by him in the Temporada races and again in European Formula 2 events in 1969. After its lengthy and well traveled career, the Formula 2 racer was sold Luigi Chinetti in 1971. It has since changed hands several times before ending up with the current American owner in 1997. He regularly exercises the machine, which sports Amon's name on one side of the cockpit and Brambilla's on the other. It is pictured above during the 2006 Cavallino Classic, where it was driven on the Moroso track.
