Chassis:
Featured is one four 340 America chassis equipped with a Ghia designed Coupe body. It was sold new to the Unitated States where it was occasionally raced. Its most noteworthy performance was a fifth overall in the 1952 Carrera PanAmericana in the hands of Jack and Ernie McAfee. It's pictured above in its 'Carrera' livery during the 2005 Quail, a Motorsports Gathering where the legendary road race was one of the main theme. A year later s/n 0150A changed hands a the RM Monterey Sports and Classic Car Auction for just over $850,000.
