    Cars with aeroplane enines

Ok I'm looking for cars with aeroplane engines + pics, So far I've heard about this man who made a custom Rolls Royce with a Merlin V12 nick named "The Beast" a 1955 Chevy Bel air with A merlin, a Rover Sd1 and a Capri.

also on this site www.bobpetersenengineering.co.uk They say they'll put a Merlin 27 litre in the bentley racer http://www.bobpetersenengineering.co.uk/cars4.htm very nice

Jay Leno's Got a Phantom II with a Merlin (these engines seem very popular for the job)

So people if you have any interesting photo's or websites please post them
    thanks in advance

there is a stock car from japan that uses plane engines,

    its called the subaru WRX.

the local light planes (20 seaters) use STI engines for their compact size (and power).

The Lotus 56 used a Pratt & Whitney turbine engien...
Not built spesific for aeroplanes.. but you can probably use it in an aeroplane and turbine engiens are often used in them too

This beautiful beast was recently built in Melbourne, Australia. Its Hispano Suiza H-3 engine is from WW-1, an incredible 18.5 litre SOHC V8 that makes 390hp @ 2,000rpm - and 1,000 ft/lbs - yet which weighs only 617lbs! She is fully road-registered & also used for competition events. I can post the informative story text if interested
