So....British humour is built around terrible acting? Since when??? Seems to me if you're going to put on a show that's just "entertainment"...you'd prefer to have ppl that can pull off their skits and jokes without looking like they're reading off of a cue card.

I've enjoyed British humour in both film and television since I was a boy, and I don't recall the real geniuses of that business demonstrating terrible acting as part of their forte. Not trying to be argumentative, I'm just disagreeing.

In my mind, Top Gear can not do better than last night's episode.

May doing 410 kph in Veyron SS, hilarious news of George Peugeot working for Citroen, Cameron Diaz setting the the new course record only to be beaten by Tom Cruise driving his Kia on two wheels.

And then - a wonderful tribute to Ayrton Senna. Quite honestly, this was the best (and perhaps most serious) bit of film ever coming from Top Gear team.
Mostly yes to everything you said.

Also, 15x04 makes me want a Quattroporte even more than usual.

Actually technically they're Ferrari Enzo, Aston Martin Vanquish S, Mini Cooper on skis, an orangy-reddy TVR Sagaris and Ferrari F40.

Unless you mean in the OLD top gear opening sequence...

Well, the old new top gear. The old top gear just had a bunch of car related animated graphics. In the early 90s anyway.

Season 16 started over the weekend, watched it last night....Fast car around test track, fast celebrity(I guess UK celebrity) in cheap car, and hilarious car review of Skoda Yeti.

Liverpool comedian John Bishop .... http://www.youtube.com/user/johnbish...gl=GB&hl=en-GB

Nobody can complain about Clarkson. Detailed comparison with the Yeti and he even had it come out top in all categories. The tea sipping, slipper wearing moanies will have to find something else to object to

I think the review was very well done, maybe less over the top vs the Fiesta review, but probably as funny.

Bishop's lap was fast, and it looks so. Much like Cruise's was actually....was surprised by the gap though...

I liked the Yeti review, and it pleases me that they reviewed a normal car again. Bishop's lap was excellent, one of those classic 'doesn't look that fast...' laps that's hugely technically proficient. Seems the new Stig is as good a teacher as Tiff was with Boyle... or it's still Tiff doing the teaching.

The 2nd ep is great too! Top Gear UK vs Top Gear Aussie....

Granted the Stig may not be the same Stig all the time, the new one is pretty handy on gravel if it is the same guy, and he seems to be a good teacher seeing both Becker and that guy last week was doing astonishingly well...
