Nice Polestar... Errrr, BMW.
The new Ms leave me cold. This coming out right after the Mustang was so funny to me. Mustang times 100000000000 over these.

How? I know you liked the 335 but what was the issue with the old M3? It certainly did bit leave as much a mark as the C63 or E30/E46.
The old 335i was amazing, maybe not the most exciting car in the world, but sounded good, pulled hard and handled well; a proper BMW. The 330i was the same only slower and with possibly an even sweeter engine.
The old M3 had nuclear power station of an engine under the bonnet which also sounded like the good of thunder, but if left me completely cold. Oh surely, it was very fast and very efficient, but I couldn't feel any of the M division magic through the controls.
I remember jumping straight from the M3 into a Z4M, and the difference was clear. The two seater was slower, but god it was good to drive. It felt raw, mechanical, exciting, just like BMW M car should feel. And there was the lovely 3.2 litre straight six, possibly one of the best engines ever made.

BMW M3 facelift 2015 #4
BMW posts these pictures as they are the facelifted version (they call this: LCI).
But comparing these picture to those I posted a year and a half before, they are almost identical.
Only the rear lights are different.

What does LCI mean?

Shut up shut up shut up shut up shut up!
Only issue was that it was actually quite a lot cheaper than other examples (hence I could nearly afford it) which might have pointed to future issues.. at least, that's the thought that lets me sleep at night.
Also I have my Alfa now, so.. that helps too.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
