Italy. All their cars vary from small, affordable city cars to 7-figure priced hypercars. Plus all their stuff has some flair that makes it special from other cars.
I've just found out what Italy lacks: upscale sedans and wagons. I mean Lancia was supposed to do that job, but all they build are small, expensive cars and a big van (sorry, idk if the Phedra is still on sale...). Alfa could easily do it, but I've heard that Fiat canceled the development for the big Alfa. Maserati has the QP, but it's too expensive.
To sum up: Italy can't compete in the upper middle class segment and the luxury segment right now.

I guess the Alfa 159 is about it, now that the 166 is ended.
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
The Alfa 159 starts from 25k € now, quite less than before. So freaking tempting.
The new Thema will probably start in the high-40 if not 50k € range.
Then you'll get the smaller Maserati and the new Alfa flagship with it. It took them 4 years to realize you can't built a 50k € Alfa and an over 100k Maserati on the same base, unless you want to play Bentley, but they eventually figured it.

Lancias tactic:
1. build a car and offer it for high prices
2. (nobody wants one)
3. make 1k special editions that are much more expensive than the basic car
4. some people buy some (still not very sucessful)
5. sell rebadged Chryslers with a massive pricetag
6. Lancia: "now that will earn us some profit"
