Depends on what they want to do.
IF they follow tradition then I can see them going 5 cyl ( but limited availabiliyu/benefit ) or a Powertec V8
But I'm betting they'll stick with a mainstream Japanese supplier and try to get volume

Plumbing even a single turbo into a single seater is a horrible compromise, can't imagine where to find the space for 1 1/2
But yeah, if it's just power then you can keep adding things to reach it.
When turbo are allowed back in top motorsport watch out for the advances in the variable vane tech. A great solution just not being driven hard enough through innovation.
Not sure about the wish for a larger RC2111 ... Audi did that game most successfully already 20 years ago. The 211V advatange was a different delivery profile on power which matters a lot in a bike and not in a car.

yeah but the engine will go however you tune it
compared to sticking the larger again V8, it strikes me as an interesting alternative. an extremely compact 5 cylinder nestled right in the center of the 7's engine bay
the size difference between it & the Duratec ford engine would be immediatly noticeable
ah, maybe different wants in us B
I dont mind how it looks in an engine bay
I just want it light, low and as far back as possible !!
