Chassis:
Originally retained by Ferrari, this car was a works entry for the 1954 Mille Miglia, where it placed 15th overall. In July of that year, it was sold to its first private owner, who only gave the car limited outings. In 1955, it was sold to Venezuela, where it was raced with some success through to the end of the decade. It eventually emerged, re-bodied as a single seater and fitted with a Chevrolet V8 during the mid-1960s. It was then sold to the United States, where it was re-fitted with a correct 500 Mondial engine. Its succession of American owners, has since actively campaigned the car in events on both sides of the Atlantic.
