Completed in 1990, this was the very first Peugeot 905 built. It served mainly as a test and development car and clocked many miles at Montlhery, Paul Ricard and the Le Mans Bugatti tracks. Later in the year, it served as the T-Car during the final two rounds of the World Championship. It may have been pressed into service again in 1993 when Philippe Alliot crashed chassis EV16 in practice for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car finished third overall in what was its first competitive outing. Still boasting the 1993 Le Mans livery, it changed hands several times during the last few years. Now part of the stable of a Dutch historic racer, it returned to the race track during the 2022 season.
