Chassis:
The fourth 512 BB LM built, this example was acquired new by Jacques Swaters for his Ecurie Francorchamps. It was sold on to Jean Blaton or 'Beurlys', who fielded the car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He shared the car with Steve O'Rourke, Nick Faure and Bernard de Dryver to finish 12th overall and fifth in class. The car was then sold to Simon Philips and once again fielded for Steve O'Rourke, who was also Pink Floyd's manager. The best result that year was a seventh in the Silverstone 6 Hours. Some years after the car was retired from contemporary racing, it joined the stable of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason. He has since campaigned and shown the car a variety of events, wearing the green livery as used during the 1980 season.
