Chassis:
Sold new to French industrialist Jean-Luc Maury-Laribière, chassis 05R was extensively campaigned for three seasons in the BPR and FIA GT championships. Its most famous appearance was at the 24 Hours of Le Mans where it sported a striking art-car livery created by French sculptor César. Maury-Laribière drove the car together with Hervé Poulain and Marc Sourd to a 13th overall. Following its final appearance at Suzuka in 1997, the car was sold to another French enthusiast. While he did not race the car, he did maintain it to full running order. In 2010 he consigned the car to Artcurial for their Le Mans Classic sale where offers sadly failed to meet the reserve set. In 2013, it returned to the track for the BPR Revival at Paul Ricard, while in 2015, it was shown at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance.
