Chassis:
Originally earmarked to be powered by the highly unconventional, all-plastic Polimotor engine, this GC287 was not raced in 1987 as the engine deal never materialised. It was eventually sold to Tim Harvey, fitted with the Rover V64V V6 engine. In this guise, it was raced with considerable success in the BRDC C2 Championship, winning at Donington and Oulton Park. Ahead of the 1989 season, it was updated with revised bodywork, which included covered rear wheels to reduce drag. Chassis 350 has survived in its 1989 configuration and livery, and is today regularly raced in historic events.
