Chassis:
One of the RE40s used during the 1983 season, this example has been meticulously restored to full running order by Renault Classic. In 2012 Alain Prost was reunited with the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Despite ultimately costing him his first World Championship, Prost still has a soft spot for the RE40, particularly its refined handling. Renault Classic brought chassis 04 out again for the 2013 Festival of Speed.
