Chassis:
After its Geneva debut the original road car was sold to Luigi Chinetti who immediately showed it at the New York Auto Show. He sold it in 1971 and subsequently it changed hands various times before entering the collection of Thomas E. Stegman in 1982. After a thorough restoration it was shown throughout the 1990s at various prestigious Concours d'Elegance, racking up various awards. Early in 2005, it was sold to Mexican collector Manny del Arroz, who later sold it on to compatriot Lorenzo Zambrano. During their successive ownership, the road-going 250 LM was shown at various shows in North America. Its most recent owner brought chassis 6025 back to Italy for the 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
