Chassis:
This 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 was delivered new to Max Moritz for Eckhard Schimpf to race in the striking orange Jägermeister colours. Schimpf was very successful behind the wheel of this chassis, winning numerous minor events. The car was updated ahead of the 1977 season with a 935 style body, which allowed Schimpf to score victories well into 1978. In new hands, it was raced until 1980. Now in American ownership, it has been restored to its original configuration and regularly raced in historic meetings.
