Soon after Touring ceased trading, the unique 4000 GT Flying Star II was acquired by Frenchman Jacques Quoirez, the brother of writer Francoise Sagan. The one-off Lamborghini has retained its French registration throughout its life although it did spend time in the United States and the United Kingdom. Today it is in French hands again and in 2009, the car was completely restored by Touring Superleggera's recently established restoration department. It is seen here during the 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este where it was part of the special Lamborghini 50th anniversary class.
