Chassis:
Presumably the first CK6 built, this car was raced in four rounds of the All Japan GT Championship, liveried in the familiar Leyton House colours. It finished 2nd at the Fuji 500 km and 3rd at the Suzuka 1000 km before Kris Nissen and Bruno Giacomelli drove it to victory in the Fuji 500 km. The car was crashed heavily and subsequently replaced by a new CK6-01. Restored to full running order, it is today part of a prominent American collection. It is seen here in action during several editions of the Monterey Historic Races and Monterey Motorsports Reunion at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
