Completed in the spring of 1949, chassis 0014M was sold to a Dutch gentleman racer through Ferrari's dealership in Brussels. It was raced in the Spa 24 Hours and in the 1950 Monthlery 12 Hours but with little success. In 1951, the 166 MM Touring Barchetta was sold to Sweden where it was raced with considerable success by Valdemar Stener. Luigi Chinetti bought the car in 1957 and since 1992, it has been displayed in the Le Mans museum.
