Chassis:
Although fitted with a more luxuriously interior, much like the very first 166 MM Barchetta, this chassis was extensively raced during its early years. Among the various outings were two unsuccessful entries in the Targa Florio. Chassis 0020M remained in Italy until was acquired by an American GI stationed in Italy. It was then owned for many years by the publisher of Road & Track magazine. The current custodian acquired the Ferrari in 1999 and since had it meticulously restored.
