Chassis:
Chassis 0016 was delivered new to Reinhold Joest, who first raced the car in the opening rounds of the 1978 DRM series. He also entered the car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it was shared by Franz Konrad and the Whittington brothers Don and Bill. An accident ended their charge early. Ahead of the 1979 season, it was sold to John Lagodny, who raced the 935 with considerable success in minor events. The next owner continued to campaign the car in the DRM series into the 1982 season. Restored to its original configuration and Le Mans livery, it has returned to the track in recent years.
