Chassis:
Brumos Porsche acquired this car for Peter Gregg to campaign in the 1978 IMSA GT Championship. He debuted with a third at Laguna Seca but then went on to score six outright victories in the remainder of the year. Between 1979 and 1981, the car was entered for with backing from Bayside Disposal and raced by the likes Gregg, Hurley Haywood and Bruce Leven with mixed results. Among the subsequent owners was once more Brumos Porsche, who eventually sold it to the current custodian, a very prominent American collector and historic racer.
