Chassis: LM907
The only GT-One built in 1999, this was the seventh and final example constructed. It was entrusted to the #1 squad of Martin Brundle, Emmanuel Collard and Vincenzo Sospiri, who dominated the official test. They followed up with a pole position, a full seven seconds faster than the quickest qualifying time of a GT-One a year earlier. The #1 car looked set to convert the domination in a victory until a puncture in the final hour robbed the team of the victory. Not used again, chassis LM907 was returned to full running order and was demonstrated at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed and is scheduled to return in 2014.
