Chassis:
Completed in July of 1962, chassis 3809GT was sold to Swiss gentleman racer Kalman von Czazy. An effective hillclimber, Von Czazy used the car to win at Solitude and other climbs but also rolled the car twice at the Targa Florio and the Nürburgring. In 1964, it was sold to a fellow Swiss racer, who also scored several hillclimb wins. Due to the many accidents, it was heavily modified and the subsequent owner had it restored to its original configuration. The current, German owner bought it in 1976 and has raced it in historic events until the late 1990s. In more recent years, it has only very rarely been seen in public.
