Chassis:
Although invoiced to Scuderia San Ambreous, this GTO was not delivered to the Italian team and instead sold to Ecurie Francorchamps. The Belgian squad only raced the car for a couple of months but during this period Willy Mairesse drove it to outright victory in the Spa 500 km, 'Beurlys' and Gerard Langlois van Ophem finished second overall and first in class at Le Mans, and Lucien Bianchi also won his class at Reims. It was then sold to Jack B. Nethercutt in the United States and has since been in the ownership of major collectors. The most recent bought the Le Mans-class winning GTO in 2002.
