Chassis:
Sold new to Ireland, this Phantom III was originally fitted with a four-door saloon body, designed and built by Hooper. In 1950, it was shipped to H.J. Mulliner, where a brand-new four-door Cabriolet body was installed. It has survived with the second body and all of its original components down to the radio, power windows and heater. In 2006, it was awarded best in class in the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and a year later it was also shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
