Chassis:
Completed in 1970, this 'plexiglass' Daytona was used on the streets of Milan for several years. In 1974, it was converted to Group 4 specification in Italy on behalf of Luigi Chinetti for one of his clients, Harry F. Jones. The work was completed in time for Le Mans, where Jones and Marvel Mignot finished a commendable 16th overall. The following year Jones and Mignot also finished ninth at Sebring. After another outing at Le Mans, the car was sold to Preston Henn, who entered it at Daytona and Sebring later in the decade. Henn retained the car for many years and it did not resurface until the 2010s, when it was prepared for historic racing by Piet Roelofs for his compatriot John Bosch. Its most recent, Swiss owner acquired the well raced Daytona in 2012.
