Chassis:
Only of the very first McLaren M6Bs built by Trojan, this example was bought by accomplished privateer racer Lothar Motschenbacher. He first campaigned the car in the 1968 USRRC championship. He finished second three times but ultimately a victory eluded the American racer. He would go on to race the car in the Can-Am, where a third was his best result. At the end of the season, the car was sold to Japan where it was later upgraded to M12 specification. In more recent years, chassis 50-03 has returned to North America and has been restored to its original configuration.
