Chassis:
One of a handful of 911 RSRs built for the 1975 season, this car was sold to Hartwig Bertrams of the Tebernum team. It was raced with considerable success for two season in national and international events. Among the highlights were a pair of outings at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1975 and 1976. In the car's final appearances, it raced under the Gelo banner as the team had merged with Tebernum. Following its contemporary racing career, it was sold to the United States. Among the subsequent owners was legendary movie star and accomplished racer Paul Newman. Still in Gelo colours, it formed part of the famous Mike Amalfitano Porsche collection during the 2000s. In 2010, it was acquired by a Monaco-based Porsche enthusiast, who had it meticulously restored to its original Tebernum colours. Sold to a German Porsche specialist in 2015, it was raced to class victories at the 2016 and 2018 Le Mans Classic.
