Chassis:
Chassis 0164ED was delivered new through the Kleber-Colombes tyre company to French privateer racer Jean Lucas. Together with André Simon, he placed the car fourth overall in the 1952 Monaco Grand Prix, which was run for sports cars that year. Lucas continued to race the car successfully throughout France well into the 1953 season. Like so many of its contemporaries, chassis 0164ED was sold to the United States. Among the subsequent owners was noted collector Anthony Wang, who sold it on to the current, American custodian in the early 2010s. He has since raced the car twice at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
