Chassis:
This is the seventh and final 126 C2 built by Ferrari for the 1982 Formula 1 World Championship. It was driven by Patrick Tambay during four rounds in which he finished fourth twice, third once and also managed to win the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim. For the final two races of the season, the car was allocated to 1978 World Champion Mario Andretti. His best result was a third in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Ferrari eventually sold the car and for many years it was part of the fantastic Jacques Setton collection in France. In more recent years, it was acquired by Modena Motorsport's Uwe Meisner. Believed to be the only fully functional 126 C2 in the world, it is understood to have now been sold to the far East.
