Chassis:
One of 12 Ferrari 212 Inter chassis clothed with a Coupe body by Ghia, this car was delivered new to Dutch sports car enthusiast Eddy Hertzberger for the princely sum of 50,000 Dutch Guilders. It is understood to be the first Ferrari to be bought new in The Netherlands through an official distributor. Hertzberger used the car on the road but also successfully raced it at Zandvoort. He eventually sold the car and it ended up in the United States where it was fitted with a much easier to maintain Chevrolet Corvette engine and rear-end. Following a brief spell back in the Netherlands, it returned to the United States. Following a lengthy search, the son of the original owner finally managed to find and re-acquire his father's 212 Inter in November of 2013. It has since been completely restored to its original configuration by Pastorelli Classics. In 2015, it was shown at the Modena Trackdays where it won 'best of show' in the concours d'elegance.
