Chassis:
The first of four Cabriolets built by Vignale on the 212 Inter chassis, this example was sold new to customer from Rome, Italy. It was eventually sold to Switzerland and has remained there almost its entire life. Following a single ownership of forty years, it was acquired by a noted Swiss collector in 2012. He meticulously restored the car himself before showing it at Pebble Beach in 2014. The striking machine placed second in class behind the Ferrari that would go on to win the 'Best of Show' award.
