Chassis:
Completed in April of 1991, chassis 191 was the first of two XJR-16s built. It was used exclusively by Davy Jones that season, scoring all four of the model's victories. In its final outing, Jones placed the car second on the grid at Daytona but the car was withdrawn with engine problems. In recent years chassis 191 was bought by an English historic racer. He had Don Law Racing prepare the car and he raced it quite successfully for several seasons and the striking Jaguar has since been a set fixture in the Historic Group C Championship.
