Chassis:
The second of three customer DB3S chassis fitted with a coupe body, this car was finished in battleship grey and originally register '3 HMY'. It subsequently went through several hands including noted Aston Martin collectors Jim Freeman, Victor Gauntlett and Simon Draper. By the mid-1980s, it had been painted black with red wheels. After owning the car for close to two decades, Draper sold the car including its original registration number to the current custodian. He had the car meticulously restored to its original colours and specification by Rex J Woodgate. Although retained with the car, the original body was so far gone that new panels were made by ASR Motor Body Engineering.
