Chassis:
Pressed into service during the summer of 1970, this P153 was allocated exclusively to Pedro Rodriguez. He raced the car in eight Grands Prix with a second in the United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen as the best result. Following its contemporary racing career, it was retained by BRM until the defunct company's assets were auctioned off in the early 1980s. Chassis P153/05 was acquired by Tom Wheatcroft for his fabulous Donington Grand Prix Collection. It was eventually restored to full running order by specialists Hall & Hall. During the first half of the 2010s, it was sold to a private enthusiast. Still maintained by Hall & Hall, it has since appeared at select events. Among them was the 2018 Monaco Historic where it was driven by former Bentley works driver Andy Soucek.
