Chassis:
Chassis 0919GT was the first production California Spyder, and the first of the 23 examples fitted with the desirable covered headlights. Finished in white, it was sold new to Cuban Julio Batista Falla. He later traded it back to New York-based distributor Luigi Chinetti. One of the subsequent owners actually raced the car in several events during the early 1960s. In 1975, it joined the longterm ownership of John Apen in Georgia. He had it restored during the early 2010s before selling it on to British collector Peter Neumark. A few years later it was acquired by the current custodian, who had it restored once more, by Paul Russell, before showing it at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
