Chassis:
Of the 353 250 GT Coupes built by Ferrari and Pininfarina this was the 293th. It was shipped in rolling chassis form to the Turin-based carrozzeria in January of 1960 and less than two months later, it was ready for delivery to its first owner. This enthusiast from Milan specified a black exterior with light beige interior. Following a sojourn in the United States, chassis 1749GT made its way back to Italy during the 1970s where it was restored two decades later. After changing hands again in Italy before it was acquired by an English enthusiast in the late 1990s. From his collection, it has been consigned to the 2016 RM Sotheby's Paris sale.
