Chassis:
One of 383 6C 2500 Super Sports built by Alfa Romeo after the War, this example was clothed by Touring with a coupe style body. The rolling chassis was built late in 1946, while the completed car was ready to be dispatched to the Portuguese distributor in the summer of 1947. Later that year, chassis 915539 was acquired by Carlos F. Alsina Saruya from Estoril. His family would go on to own the car for nearly six decades. In 2006, it was acquired by a German enthusiast, who had it comprehensively restored by a German specialist. Following the three year restoration, it was shown at various events in Europe by what was only its second private owner from new.
