Chassis:
Imported into the country in April of 1985, this is the first 288 GTO that arrived in Japan. It was acquired new by none other than noted collector Yoshiho Matsuda. He used the car on the road extensively, accumulating close to 10,000 km when it finally left his collection in 2010. At the time, it had just benefitted from a major service. It remained in Japan for several more years before it was imported into the United States. Since leaving the Matsuda collection, it covered only an additional 1,000 km.
