Chassis:
Built in 1955, this Zagato bodied 8V was raced extensively during the 1955 and 1956 seasons by Franco Cortese. In 1957, it was driven to a class win in the Mille Miglia by Luigi Nobile and Pietro Cagnana. In 1998, the rare machine was acquired by a prominent American collector. Since then, he has competed in the Mille Miglia retrospective with this car a staggering ten times. On behalf of the owner, chassis 000063 was shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in 2016 by Gabriele Artom. Here the car was reunited with Luigi Nobile, who had used it to win the two-litre class at the Mille Miglia almost six decades earlier.
