Chassis:
This is believed to be one of just three 6C 2500s bodied by Touring in 1944 and one of only two Coupes. Benito Mussolini was so adamant that no English words should be used that he ordered the company to be renamed 'Turinga'. The order for these three cars came from Luigi Fallai. He was the Alfa Romeo distributor in Stockholm, Sweden, which was a neutral country and could actually do business with Italy. It did, nevertheless, take until 1946 before the car was actually delivered to Sweden. It remained their for most of its life before returning 'home', to Italian ownership.
