Chassis:
A collection of parts until the 1960s, this car was built up around engine number 5 by German Bugatti enthusiast Uwe Hucke. The car was fitted with a single seater bodywork similar to the very last pre-War Bugatti Grand Prix cars. Hucke briefly campaigned this Type 73C during the early 1970s. It finally re-appeared in 2008, raced with great verve by Bugatti specialist Tom Dark. It took him some time to sort the engine but it is now a regular participant at events on the British Isles, including the Goodwood Revival.
