Chassis:
Completed ahead of the 2006 season, this DBR9 was allocated to the Italian Aston Martin Racing BMS team. It was fielded in that year’s FIA GT Championship with a fifth place finish for Christian Pescatori and Miguel Ramos at Brno as the best result. In 2007, it was only raced at the Hungaroring and Monza rounds of the FIA GT Championship. It was also part of the works effort at Le Mans with the iconic start number 007. Peter Kox, Tomas Enge and Johnny Herbert finished ninth overall and fourth in class. Now painted in Gulf colours, it was raced at Le Mans again with number 007. It finished 16th overall and fourth in class again at what was the car’s final contemporary outing. Since then, it has joined the ROFGO Collection and has been demonstrated and raced at select events.
