One of the 183 911 Turbo S 993s built for the American market, this black over black car was completed in April of 1997. Through famous dealer Champion Porsche in Florida, this car was sold new to an enthusiast from Beverley Hills, California. Among the additional options were a black leather interior, a carbon/leater steering wheel and sophisticated features like a self-dimming rear-view mirror and rain sensors. The car changed hands in 2002 and in 2014 was slightly damaged in an accident. It has been repaired by a Porsche specialist. With around 20,000 miles on the odometer, it was consigned by its second owner to the 2017 Bonhams Amelia Island auction.
