Chassis:
Sold new to Egon Evertz, this RSR 3.0 was first raced in the 1975 German Hill Climb Championship. The German entrepreneur also campaigned the car in that year's European GT Championship. Early in 1976 Evertz shared the car with Hartwig Bertrams and Heinz Martin to finish 12th overall in the Daytona 24 Hours, which was also good for a class win. The same line-up was also behind the wheel at Le Mans where the car placed 3rd in class and 9th overall. Following one more, unsuccessful outing in 1976, Evertz loaned the car to Heinrich Symanzick. He campaigned the car for a further two seasons in the German Hill Climb Championship, adding 11 more victories to the car's tally. Chassis 911 460 9071 finally left Evertz' stable in 1989 when it was sold to the United States. Since then it has changed hands only twice more. In 2005, the current custodian campaigned the car in the Tour Auto with Danny Sullivan as co-driver.
