Chassis:
Finished in a dark red with black leather seats and one of just ten built in 1964, this early Iso A3/C was delivered new to legendary French singer Jean-Philippe Smet, who was better known as Johnny Hallyday. 'The Elvis Presley' of France took delivery of the car late in 1964 and would regularly drive it on the streets of Paris. He sold the rare Iso in February of 1966 and shortly thereafter, it was acquired by Prince Pierre Sangusko. He would own the car until his death in 1988. During the two-decade custodianship, it was repainted white with a central blue stripe. Following the Prince's death, the car was sold to Michel Hommel for his Lohéac museum. He had the car painted Ferrari red shortly after acquiring it. In 2009, the Iso was sold on to Yvan Mahe and has since changed hands several times but always remained in France. In 2017, it was shown at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance before being consigned to the February, 2018 RM Sotheby's Paris sale.
