Chassis:
Sold new to Switzerland, this very rare Carrera 2 GT was delivered to its first custodian in May of 1963. It eventually ended up in the collection of a German enthusiast during the second half of the 1990s. In February of 1999, it was acquired by French Porsche collector Jean-Claude Miloé. He sold the car to his compatriot M. Seydoux in 2001 but it returned to the Miloé family three years, when it was acquired by Jean-Claude's son Jean-Louis. Shortly after joining the Miloé stable for the first time, it was submitted to a comprehensive restoration at the Prosche factory. Since the restoration, it has been regularly campaigned at a variety of events like the Tour Auto. Having benefitted from a recent rebuilt of the original Type 587/2 engine, it was consigned to the 2018 Artcurial Retromobile sale along with three other Porsches from the Miloé collection.
