Chassis:
One of the very last European specification Mangustas built by DeTomaso, this example was sold new to Greece in 1972. It was first registered for the road in February of that year and was finished in dark blue over a black leather interior. Further options included buckets seats and air condition, while it also featured a heated rear window that was available only on the very final few Mangustas built. The original owner used the car for around 18,500 km before parting with it in 1984. Among the subsequent owners was noted supercar enthusiast Marios Stafylopatis. In 1997, it was comprehensively restored by a GT40 specialist, who re-painted the car red and tweaked the engine to produce 350 bhp. Among the other upgrades fitted at that time were cross-drilled and ventilated discs. Since 2012, it has been in British ownership.
