Chassis:
Ready for the second half of the 1989 season, this is the very first Jaguar XJR-11 built. It debuted at Brands Hatch in the hands of Jan Lammers and Patrick Tambay. They started from pole position but eventually finished fifth. This turned out to be the best result of the year for the car. In 1990, it was raced only once more, retiring from the Suzuka round of the World Championship with an oil pump failure. For the remainder of the year, it served as the team's spare car. At some point, it was re-numbered 1390 but it was never raced with this identity. Following its contemporary racing career, it was rebuilt to full running order but not raced until it was acquired by a Belgian historic racer in 2018. He debuted the Phil Stott prepared car in the Spa Classic where it ran very well in both races.
